my Virtual Reality

ENJOY VIRTUAL REALITY

Your dwelling is a a very important part of the reality in which you live, as is the street and the town where you live and a whole variety of other experiences.when you went on holiday you experienced other realities in Cornwall or the Lake District, or Spain or California and you could live in that reality again looking at the pictures or, more recently videos that you took and made. You can also experience other realities through books and films but the Internet has given us many other realities and the latest is called VR or Virtual Reality

Remember 3D films, those funny specs, one lens red and the other green. they gave quite a good impression but never really took off. VR is much much better than 3D. it was developed for video games, particularly war games in which the experience was more than 3D. You really feel you are in enemy territory or on Mars. You have to be wearing goggles to pick up the images - the Oculus Go is one of the best reviewed makes. In addition to feeling that you are really there, on the Great Wall of China or in the Cotswolds for example you can also communicate with other people and feel part of a group.

for Virtual Cycling you need a bicycle linked to the VR and the system knows exactly where you are depending on how fast you turn the pedals and if you arguing uphill virtually you need to pedal a little harder

For Virtual Walking you need a treadmill and there are now good, safe treadmills like the Wizdish

Obviously for virtual concerts you don't need to walk but there is no reason why you should not stand while you participate !

HOW COULD YOU USE THIS KNOWLEDGE TO ACHIEVE YOUR OWN OBJECTIVES ?

Try virtual reality, if you have difficult find a teenager, probably a teenage boy to show it to you but explain you are more interested in experiencing a virtual walk or cycle rather one of the games , although if you, are feeling adventurous you could ask them to show you Fortnite

HOW COULD YOU USE THIS KNOWLEDGE IF YOU ARE SUPPORTING SOMEONE ELSE ?

Help the person try virtual reality; offer them a range of options such as virtual walk around Florence
